I am going to Film the shots of the flashback scenes of Thomas' abuse on Sunday 26th November 2017.  I am going to use my house to film these shots as well as Hattie, who plays the mother and Danny, who plays the younger version of Thomas. The actor who I wanted to play the father, may or may not be free to film, so I may film without him or use a different actor. 

I have tested my camera, to see how good the quality is when zoomed in and not. I have filmed shots both outside and inside: Overall, I am happy with the quality, but will compare the quality of shots to other cameras.

I took some pictures using different filters on my camera, so I can see if I can use these filters in my actual film: Cynatope: Sepia: Black and White: My favourite filter is cynatope as it will reflect the mood of my main character throughout the film.

I have decided that I want to use a Nikon, COOLPIX L830 camera to film my short film on. However, I need to test it to see how good the quality of the filming is on it. Here is the camera I am planning to film on:

I have decided on a Production company name: Production Company: KT Films I chose this company name because firstly, it is the initials of my name and also because it is short, simple and effective. I have also had an idea to animate the production company for my logo.

Here are the ages of my characters in my short film: Hope: 16/17 years old Thomas: 30s/40s Young Thomas: 9/10 years old Thomas's Mother: 40s Thomas' Father: 40s Extras: 13 years old - mid-50s

For the scenes between young Thomas and his abusive parents, I will film these scenes at my house over the holiday's as I have both big and confined spaces which I could use to make the scenes more dramatic. I will also film the final shot in my School Hall: Lastly,  for the audition scene I intend to film through this door:
